The latest proposal for a wind turbine development in the heart of Aberdeenshire, which has prompted a massive public response, has been labelled “borderline” by council planning chiefs.
Almost 320 letters have been received by Aberdeenshire Council about the plan for three industrial masts near Aberchirder.
Public opinion is split almost evenly, with 183 letters of support for the project at Mains of Auchinderran and 135 expressing opposition.
